Russell Wilson his whole career
How about Tom Brady 2019 yeah they were terrible what they go 12-4 won the conference for like 11th straight year. They did lose the wild card game against a team they made it afc championship though.
The lack of oline play has accentuated Goffs inability to disect and process a defense IMO would you disagree with that? Great QBs will overcome some of those terrible olines and adjust their game to make plays regardless. Goff is not their at this point in his career would you agree? He can not carry this team like all of the other QBs I have mentioned would you agree? I like Goff and think he can just not at this point in his young career. I think with more experience and guidance under mcvay he will better equipped to handle these situations and become a better player. But it's going to come in the film room and game time.
Russell Wilson has not played behind massively injured OLs his whole career. In 2017 they did have several major OL injuries and he processes things so fast he could get by, but it caught up with him in the end.
Brady played behind a massively injured OL in 2015. They built the offense around his quick reads and quick passing game. But it caught up with them.
There is no such thing as "great qbs" plural who play well under those conditions. So when it comes to that you're just repeating a myth. Brady and Wilson were each an example of an exception in 2015 and 2017 respectively, but you have not named anyone else, and for good reason. People tried to make the same argument in 2007. They blamed Bulger for everything when the evidence was right in front of them that an injury collapse that massive on the OL is just not something qbs overcome, in spite of the myth. It's just a blindspot some have.
