Many QBs have had success recently without superstar rbs and olines, .
And no one said anything about any of that. You're missing what the topic even is.
We talked about injury broken OLs, and that's not the same as
"not a superstar OL."There are only a handful of qbs, ever, who played behind extensively injured, badly compromised OLs and played well.
And in in 2019 the Rams did not NOT have a "superstar RB"--for most of the season they
had no running game at all. That's a different thing.
Zn I like Goff and think he can be a great qb not just good. He has all the tools he just has to get a mastery of the offense to be successful. Everyone knows that if you have a great line and great RB you will have more success. But we are paying Goff to be great without those things like all of the other QBs I mentioned that can do things without a good run game or stellar/injured line play. Goff has to take that next step which I think he is very capable of. Injuries are part of the game that every team goes through.
