But couldn't you say that about all of the Rams WRs?
Since Cooks has been here, opponents have primarily schemed to take him away. Last year in the SB, the Pats schemed to take Woods away.
The scheming for Kupp only started once Cooks went down.
My measure of elite is two pronged: 1) opponents scheme to take you away, 2) you're highly productive despite that. IMO, Kupp didn't demonstrate the second prong last year.
My reason for not wanting to trade him isn't because he has already demonstrated that he's elite, it's because I feel that he's an ascending player and will get there.
