It's not a question of having the wealth, it's about having the cash.
The total value of all the Rams' contracts is over $700M. I agree that there isn't an owner in the NFL that would have any problem paying off those contracts as they come due. But how many of them have $700M liquid that they can deposit into an escrow account to cover future guarantees?
