Maybe the *light went on.*
And/or maybe the combination of hurt players (especially Everett, also Cooks) and an underperforming OL brought him into play more.
I haven't looked at it closely, but the timing of his pass-catching surge suggests it had much more to do w/increased opportunity than with a sudden change in the player's capacities.
