That's the rule. And if it happens in the first half of a game, you miss the entire game. But, if it happens in the second half, you miss the rest of the game and the first half of the next game.
They are not messing around in college. I like the rule, because maybe it cleans up the game and cleans it up for the nfl. Yes, it can seriously alter a game, but lessons are being learned. And really, college is about learning. And maybe the occasional beer.
