It really stinks that Franklin-Myers didn't pan out because it would lessen the hole that could be there if Brockers leaves. Joseph-Day has been a really pleasant surprise and with Gaines they're set at NT but DE needs some backfilling for the future.
Any chance Joseph-Day could slide outside to Bockers position? Wade doesn't seem to value pass rush from that spot (Though they are only 1 sack a part this year) and he might improve our run defense on the line. It should be easier to back fill the NT spot (Gaines or someone else) than the DE/DT position.
Ideally I'd prefer Brockers to stay, but I suspect he'll get a bigger offer to play in a 4-3 when he hits the market.
