I can see your point 43..........Maybe 4 times a game is a little much, how's about 1 DEEP BALL each half?
I totally agree and get it. If you never throw a BOMB, then the defense never considers it a threat, thus they don't need to cover DEEP.
Last week, I think there were about 4 long pass attempts to Cooks and Reynolds. Just enough to keep them safeties DEEP. Then, Goff went to work underneath with Woods, Kupp and Higbee!
I get it........Our offense was missing a piece of it's puzzle without Cooks.
