Is it too early to call this a turning point game?

November 08, 2019 07:18AM
I don’t think so. I think that we’ve reached a fork in the road with regard to playoff possibilities.

Can this OL FINALLY start to open up holes for our running game?

Can Ramsey shut down Schuster? Will Wade utilize extensive press man coverage and dial up devastating blitzes? I wanna see a smothering D this Sunday and every Sunday. Our D vs the hapless Bengals was underwhelming and unacceptable.

If we see those two things then I think that we can legitimately expect to be wildcard candidates. But if we continue to struggle, even though we may win, then I’m afraid that we may have to start planning for next year.

So, stakes are high and this Steeler game will tell us a lot. Fingers crossed.

What happens next in 2019, ALL depends on the D, IMO.

The Tampa game really damaged my trust in the defense.
