Blythe was the right guard all of 2018 so having Blythe next to him again this year doesn't explain this year's issues.

In 2017 the RG was Jamon Brown: was he so much better than Blythe?

In 2016 it was Cody Wichman. Same question.

If I may intrude here...you guys are discussing Hav's history. In fact he did not play well in 2016. (Fans were calling for his head that year, actually.) He started playing especially well in 2017 (I credit Kromer).

To me, the situation in 2019 is not really about individual performances. The entire line lacked continuity and was not in sync. No individual OL player looks good under those conditions.

Having said that, Hav was always kind of a limited guy, which is fine at ROT. But the rest of the OL had to be playing well too for him to play well.

There were down games in the 2nd half of 2018 for the entire OL, not just Hav. Including for example the superbowl. So the situation in 2019 is not new.
