That would have a real impact to hit more of those type plays.
But if the issue is an arthritic knee--and I think everything indicates it is--they are not saving him from overuse as an end in itself, as much as they are preserving his ability to play at all.
If that's the case then there is not going to be much of a 2nd half of the season increase in his runs.
