I agree with the previous posts by dz and Albany.
To add to that, they have also set themselves up so that if Talib misses time, they already have subs who can play man in the scheme as his replacement.
One is Darious Williams---a guy McVay praised heavily after the Oakland game. Draft write-ups on Wms mention his ability to play man.
Another is Long, of course, the rookie. He was known for his man coverage at Michigan.
I don't know when it comes to that how Hill or Peterson fit. But there's at least Wms and Long. (Actually the Rams have a few more CBs besides the ones mentioned, and who knows about them.)
This year, Peters can stay where he is and do what he does. That's whether Talib plays every game or not.
