Is Goff
And I keep saying this .... I need to see more. I don’t like how he finished. I have questions and that’s ok
Yep it's okay.
And for the record my take is not the same as your take. I am much more confident about Goff than you are, or so it seems based on things we've both said.
But it's okay to have doubts and want to see more.
In his last 8 games, counting the post-season, he had FIVE games that averaged out together like this: 101 on 196 attempts for 51.5%, 1 TD and 7 INTs, and an avg. qb rating of 59.2.
To me he's still young and inconsistent and not all of that was on him. But I think he will progress and become more consistent.
If your take is more skeptical than mine, so be it. I don't agree but then your take isn't unreasonable at all. It would be weird if some Rams fans DIDN'T see it the way you do.
....
Yeah, but you have to remember that what kills that stat line is the 4 INT 0 TD game in Chicago in freezing temps.... he had subpar game vs Det, Eagles and Pats...played fine vs Niners, Cards, Cowboys and Saints.
Football is the ultimate team game and it always will be...so take the QB stats with a grain of salt and look at the bigger picture in good and in bad.
Like it or not, Goff is a HUGE part of this remarkable turnaround from a team perspective...I don't think we'd even have played in the Super Bowl if it wasn't for his clutch performance in the NFC championship game...it's just unfortunate all anybody wants to talk about from that game is the NRC play
