You make good points and overall statistically he did play well. However, he didn’t just have bad games. He had horrible games. Where he looked incompetent. People had doubts and those were elevated when after Gurley/Brown/Kupp were hurt and more was required of him.... he looked bad. Other than that Saints game
The only way for people to recognize him like you feel he should be is for him to shut people up. And kick the Bears and Eagles in the teeth and continue to grow
I have doubts about his ceiling but I know he’s young. I just don’t like what I saw when more was required of him
