Because if this season goes the way I expect it to Jared's going to have a Super Bowl championship under his belt and 3x elite seasons. I think he will probably eclipse what Wilson got, but with longer duration and more money up front.

I don't see the parallel you keep drawing on this. Wentz jumped into the elite paycheck range and he's proven nothing and been injury prone; his contract is projection based and the Eagles are betting they are getting a good deal based on doing it before he is truly elite. There are going to be a lot of 2nd contract QBs who don't rate that projection treatment. And if Goff has a great season once again and wins it all and gets done this offseason the Rams are going to pay him at or near the top of the QB pay scale. Which, again, doesn't seem to jive with what you keep saying.

But whatever. Not really interested in arguing about it, I just don't see the correlation you keep going back to. Guess we'll see here after this season.
