One of the factors that I think we're all quietly worried about, as somewhat stated above, is the implications of winning or losing this game. for Dallas, they are free-rolling. they weren't even supposed to make the playoffs a month ago, but started clicking. if they lose in the second round of the playoffs, compared to 2 months ago when "Dak is average without zeke" and "Garrett will be fired at the end of the season".. they already can consider this season a success, win or lose.
the rams however have all the pressure. we went 13-3, and last year lost in the first round of the playoffs. so now we are expected to win our first playoff game with a bye and at home.
except we all know it hasn't looked as sharp the last month, we miss Kupp, and running the ball well with CJ for 2 weeks doesn't exactly prove to us that Goff is back in form. (not to mention my belief that AZ and SF didn't even want to win those games getting #1 and #2 picks in the draft).
then for good measure it's the cowboys.. filling up the stadium, media darlings, America's team.
bottom line, the pressure is on us. Goff seems to be a pretty cool character. him and McVay need to be on point this week.
not so much Gurley, but how Goff goes, so goes the Rams.
for us, getting to the next game, likely the Saints, is our free-roll. revenge game, if you win you're in the SB. if not, you improved on last year, you're still young, coach is learning, Goff is growing, etc...
So Hopefully Goff and McVay are up for it.
Let's Go Rams!!!!.
