By George, I think he's got it.
As a football moment, I never been so stunned, seriously arrested, as when Everett tiptoed his way into the endzone. To have that happen in front of me live made it all the more dumbfounding. I was jumping, and dancing like an 11 year old when Peters interception happened. However, I was gloriously silent when Goff found the tight end, and that kid went payday.
As a season of epic plays, Gurley and Brown have come up with body contortion magic for TDs. Even Everett has a sensational play in the same are of the field, called back on penalty. But THAT play came with the "all in" poker move.
In a year of more wins than even in the wildest proclamations might have imagined, this game, and that play brought more emotional impact than I can express.
For those of you that witnessed Tony Horne lead of the second half of the playoff game with Vikings with a TD on a kickoff return? That's the drama involved.
Scaled the highest mountain in football to deliver that.
Thanks, Counselor for sharing the week that was !!
And BTW: Your welcome NFL.
That just changed the whole downtrend of football
