IMO, the young kids to watch now are Wentz, Goff, and Mahomes. Not sure where to put Garoppolo since he turns 27 in about a month.
I was a Goff over Wentz guy, and can’t deny Wentz has clearly been the better QB to date. I still maintain that Wentz has an injury risk factor that can significantly affect his long term performance. We still don’t know how he will do when he is no longer running like McNair, which I don’t believe Wentz's body can handle.
I think this is a HUGE year for Goff. He needs to take a major step up if he is ever gonna show us he’s more than a QB that rides the bus, but one that drives the bus.
Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, et al, need a year under their belt for me to really take notice.
