I agree with yer post...however, McVay was known for his use of TEs and I think here in LA he'll certainly still use it...
BUT...
I think McVay likes 3WRs...better with the personnel we have currently. I think he's grown to appreciate what he can do with 3WRs. I like it better myself as it allows good use/threat from WRs speed vs TEs blocking. We can use bunch sets with the WRs or spread them out wide and create bigger gaps in the run game.
WRs are faster and have more options for big plays. imo
