Missing 2 games for a veteran starter is no big deal really. Brown steps back in, the line is the same, and they build off of continuity.
Demby has a long way to go to become starting quality, and that's no matter how good he is...but a rookie is a rookie. And I like Demby. Seems like a good pick.
Yeah, we see this one differently.
Rookie Guards get plugged in at a higher rate than most other positions. Demby is gonna have to play significant minutes with the starters in preseason. Then 2 regular season games. If he grades out really well, I can see Kromer sticking with him for a few more games, and making a determination later.
It’s not as if Brown is a high quality starter. I still see him totally brain farting on that missed block that caused the hit on Goff resulting in a fumble and DTD.
I prefer very smart OL.
