They got all sorts of probs behind the scenes I'm sure. 9ers bluffed them and all that, no doubt. So sure, pile on man.
I'm just observing that when you find a QB you have a chance. Look at the Skins, who were fleeced by us then were still fine simply because they hit on Cousins and hired a good offensive staff.
I recall that story of Bill Walsh asking others if they should take Montana in round 3. Nobody knows which of these guys are gonna be great. It's a crapshoot and particularly with QBs.
