1st - The kid is explosive. I watched the Northern Iowa game as well as the NDSU game. He's one of those speed to power converter types.
2nd - I think he is going to be so much better standing up in the NFL then he was with a hand down in college.
3rd - He does a nice job of holding the edge against the run most of the time, then he'll just crash inside for no reason (could be a defensive call, but it doesn't look like it)
4th - He has zero pass rush moves
Like I have said in the past Flip, I am all over this kid, but his lack of experience as a 3-4 backer along with, shall we say, a limited pass rush arsenal may see him slide to the end of the 2nd to early 3rd. Plus there is a ton of depth in the edge dept. this year
Just throwing him out there because the W. Michigan pro day is today and I think he will test well and start getting well deserved hype as a pass rusher. Explosive, flexible, active hands, nasty spin move, non stop motor. Want to see if he added a few pounds, not exactly stout vs the run at around 230.
