You can use stats and you can float rumors and innuendo matched to your preconceptions and it would be bleak but you can also be a fan love the skill set and be aware of what is bad team offense and poor play calling and not buy into some rumor that Weinke was fantastic QB coach. He is not elite and was not on any staff that produced game day performers. Combine trainers are not equivalent to the elite QB coaches. Boras is a TE coach and that was out of his depth and unproven. SO as a fan you can wait and see what we get with a real offensive mind and staff in place.
Don't think his struggles had anything to do with Weinke... horrendous offensive scheme along with shoddy o-line play were the biggest culprits imo.
Gurley becoming a complete non factor is another byproduct of those issues.
Looking for both to have much better year in 2017!!!
