Robinson plays effectively for long stretches. Smith gave up on the game after the bad neck injury. 2 different animals. GR can diminish the mistakes. I don't know how quickly, but there's something to work with there. Smith basically just walked away from the game.

You don't think they are remotely in the same category? Once again, what you think and reality (what's actually happening) are at odds:
Both selected #2 overall.
Both expected to be pillars @ the LT for the next decade.
Both overpaid.
Both set this franchise back rather than using a valuable @2 overall pick to go forward.
Both lacking either the desire or the skills -be it physical or mental -to play @ the NFL level.
Both are so bad that they didn't suit up for an NFL game last week.
Both colossal busts. The only difference here is that Smith is a proven bust while GRob is proving to be a potential bust.
The major difference between them is you say Smith walked away from the game (in reality the NFL walked away from Smith). I think Robinson will be healthy enough to run away from the game. He doesn't even have the injury excuse you provide for Smith.
