If our offense was just avg (15th?)...
we'd be 7-2 or something close.

I think Groh will be named OC next year if Fisher does not hire an experienced OC.
Groh has given us a bit of a passing game with better route combos, etc imo
I think Goff knows the offense...just not how to read all these defenses yet which will take "experience" to truly grow...
however, it DOES help that Goff can watch how defenses attack us to get a feel for all the exotic packages defenses can bring.

Also, I thought Goff's PS was not as bad as everyone says. He just looked like a kid processing too much...which is fine cuz that's the nature of the position. All his competing rookie QBs have OFFENSIVE mided HCs that specialize and got their job based on their ability on offense....so those QBs may get better coaching earlier. Either way, Goff will catch up and that may be why Fisher is holding him off....giving Goff time to catch up mentally.

We have 2/3s of a really good team...
but, that last 1/3(offense) should come now that we have a real passing talent. It's just a matter of time. I just record these Ram games so I can rip thru them in half the time...it helps with the frustration!! LOL

The thing that bothers me is that Fisher is ultra aggressive on DEFENSE & STs....
but NOT the offense so much. Why not?
....what's "good for the Goose vs Gander" kinda thang?!?
Isn't offense the best form of defense??? I know there are times to shell-up on offense but for the most part...being aggressive and forcing a defense to react by succeeding running OR passing the ball keeps the defense off balance. imo

oh well....we'll see.
