I have no issue with starting Mannion. Only issue I have is he should have started him last week.
Fisher could not be in any more hot water than he aleady is. He could have easily came out after the bye week and announced that after reviewing tape we need to try to get more production from the QB position and Jared Goff is not quite ready to take the reigns, therefore we are going to let Mannion start vs. Carolina.
But,now he would just look desperate because it is reactive instead of proactive. Either way,get back to 5-5 and ppl will stop asking questions about Goff.
But as is typical, it's probably too little too late for Fisher.
