and your statement about no other coach is pure conjecture. in fact im fairly certain bellicheck did something similar a few year ago. but again whats the difference: you either place the game in the hands of the special teams or the defense. do you think they would have stopped mccoy? he had 150 yards rushing. and btw..tru would have been out to add to the dline problems. if the defnse has at full strength maybe i agree with you...but given the game situation, its not so black and white.

No other coach would have punted there with 3 time outs and over 3 minutes to play except this HC. Just like they would not have challenged the Quick drop last week or gone for two the week before.
