im not really sure what you mean. its "moronic" to be conservative then aggressive? you would prefer the offense to be predictable?
but again i think its fair to debate the 4th and goal call too. but lets be real...none of these decisions have an obvious "right" answer. they didnt win so I guess they were the wrong calls. i kinda wanted them to go for the td..and if you dont get it they are on the 5 but i see why they didnt. theres plenty of time left at that point to get the ball and actually win rather then tie.
to me the biggest mistake is on CK not fisher. he just cant throw that ball. personally i think we win if hes doesnt make that mistake. thats why im ready to see goff at this point. can goff manage a 75 qb rating? if so...theres nothing to lose. Lets get him the experience.

its fair to criticize, question and debate the call but its not moronic. yes if you dont make it the game is over...but if you dont get the ball back the game is also over..so whats the difference? how many time have we seen fisher punt in the same situation to never get the ball back again?
The "moronic" in my posting is attributed to the discrepancy in which situations Fisher went Ultra aggressively in contrast to his Ultra conservative Approach in a matter of minutes.
Not going for it when we had first and Goal with 5 minutes left but then going for that suicide punt fake .
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!
