In a response to this thread, Oldman mentions that Marqui is smart. I read where that was, indeed, a component of his game.
Coty getting released at least does reassure me that the Fisher, Williams, Snead, and Demoff aren't frightened to make the right decision. That was some cake there to part with, but as happens with free agency, they don't always work out. Yeah, so Snead called it wrong on the kid. But there was some backstory with him;
Least they admit and move on.
The part where they brought up Fox caught my attention. Yes, he is all pass rush. But, unfortunately, it sure looks like both Hayes and Quinn may be out.
Brockers is winged, and Fox flashed late in preseason. So, we'll see.
but I don't think any one is going to miss Coty.
