I am among those that had unrealistic expectations for Higbee. I just didn't think that "Mr no TD's" would be a high bar to surpass. Besides, I bought into the fairly common perception that Higbee would have been a 2nd rounder but for his off field altercation. Heck, I thought he was a danged steal. Especially after the preseason games. Sigh...
Expected more from Cooper, Thomas, and Spruce, too. Perhaps we might yet be pleasantly surprised by Cooper and Spruce once they're healthy.
But so far? An underwhelming draft, impact wise. And that includes our #1 overall QB, TBH. So far, anyway.
