Yeah, we're 2-1 and in first place. If anyone here genuinely believes we will keep winning with the worst QB play in the league I don't have any words.
Is Goff the answer? Who knows. But I'd give strong odds he'll perform much better than 25.7.
He's playing well enough to win as he usually does. Your post reads like someone who did not watch the game. All the Rams need from Case is a mid-80s range qb rating and that's enough for them to win.
Case is a #2 caliber type qb. But then search all of Rams history for a #2 type who is his equal. (Not counting #1 types who come off the bench, like Warner, Green, or Bulger. True #2 types.)
In fact for years, going back I don't know how long, there is only one other Rams #2 type where the team has a winning record when he plays. And THAT guy was playing with the GSOT personnel (Jamie Martin).
Rams are now 5-3 when Case starts, which isn't bad at all.

You forgot Pat Haden.
That's tricky. Haden was inserted as the starter and started consecutive seasons. How is he a #2 type?
Martin of course is between Haden and Keenum anyway so references to "the last one" would go back to Martin.
