Any win is a good win, 'cause they all count the same.
If you had told me the the Rams would somehow score 37 points today, I would have thought you were certifiable.
We got this win without Gaines, Cooper, or Spruce. And Sims was ejected early plus Hayes injured an ankle and missed significant snaps, further exhausting our DL.
Quick made some nice plays on O. Pinch me!
The running game showed a few signs of a pulse there for just a bit.
We iz tied for 1st place after 3 weeks and 2 road games. Feels pretty danged good, huh?
I'm gonna invoke the 24 hour rule before I mention how well Wentz played today. Lol.
43, I can see the point about Gaines, but with all respect, what has Cooper or Spruce done to think that we somehow won without them? Spruce had one good game in PS and Cooper made a couple of good catches. They haven't done a thing in the regular season so I have a hard time thinking we are missing them. Don't get me wrong, I hope they turn out to be valuable players but as of now we just don't know.
It was a great win and I'm enjoying it.
Good question, RFSLA.
Gaines, as you say, is pretty obvious. I really like Hill, but Gaines is just better at this point. Will significantly elevate our D, IMO.
Cooper has value as a returner. I would have him immediately replacing Austin there. Too many questionable Austin PR decisions this year, don't you think? Cooper also gives Boras and Keenum options as a Swiss Army knife multipurpose weapon. Could be a nightmare for the opposing D. Heaven knows that our O could use an effective weapon on the field to draw attention away from Gurley. I think Cooper could help in that regard.
Spruce? I guess I've just "adopted" him. I've got a soft spot for a receiver that catches the danged ball with nary a drop. What did we have yesterday, 5 drops? Maybe more? That just doesn't happen with this kid. Could have kept drives alive and changed the entire complexion of this Buc game, making the nail biting end totally unnecessary. Keenum (or Goff) deserve a non dropping target, don't they? Proof will be in the pudding once we see Spruce in real game action, of course, but I have high hopes for him.
