The guy is just plainly an eventual HOF'er.
I hope the Rams start winning big soon, not only because I am a Rams fan, but also because I am a Donald fan.
He is already so good that when his time comes to make it big dollar wise, having a winning team will help to keep him in LA rather than going elsewhere. This guy is a winner and wants to be with a winner.
... I really could see Donald giving the Rams a home team discount IF the team becomes a playoff team and that D and DLine proves special. I'm not saying he won't get paid a crazy amount money befitting one of the top 5 defensive players in the NFL (at this rate). I'm saying might well not leave for as much as he could make elsewhere., a la Suh. He just really seems like someone who really values the camaraderie w/those DL guys, will appreciate the Rams drafting him early when so many passed... and if this team can turn i, say, a 10-6 year w/every reason to believe the arrow is up...?
It's what Chris Long wanted to bad - to be w/the team when this thing turns around. Sure, guys want to win Super Bowls. But to be part of a rags-to-riches story? And obviously, Donald is just starting his career. Unlike Long, he has plenty to time to chase a ring if it comes to that.
