How long have most of these factors been going on?
Many people say "it's won in the trenches" which is mostly true but we have witnessed year-after-year a semi-one diminsional offense that simply cannot stay on the field because they can't convert 3rd downs due to wr's who can't separate, TE's who can't catch and an offensive philosophy from before the stone age.
I've seen the trench guys beat up on folks and we still end up below .500. I'm ready to see some a pass offense that can actually perform on Sundays. How about we give this kid some actual weapons so he has a chance for success?
Higbee & Cooper show promise and I pray they are pieces to fit around Tavon.
The rest of the wr's/te's? Delete and start over please.
There you go again, RFIP.
I love you, man. But you are definitely the master of the sweeping statement.
Are you really saying, other than Higbee and Cooper, that we should delete the other WR's and TE's and start over?
Does that include:
Austin
Britt
Spruce
Williams
Marquez
Heck, maybe even Quick?
All before the first preseason game snap?
All but Higbee and Cooper are total losses without insurance? Lol.
My friend, a quick visit to the Optim maybe? LOL
"Higbee & Cooper show promise and I pray they are pieces to fit around
Tavon"
But yes, OTHER THAN those 3 I'd start over. Shame about Sted, he was one of the best wr's they had...
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
