I believe he could well be suffering from schizophrenia, and I think the onset of it began in 2015 (he's at that age). It would sure explain the drop off in his performance and his increasingly irrational behavior. I hope they find him soon as I have dealt with several college students over the last couple of decades who developed schizophrenia, and they are just literally lost inside themselves.
