It is important the Rams get this passing game going and they know it. Signing these two at this date may be just to take a look at them but it signals
Rams are not set on anything they've seen so far.
Grits
You're quite possibly right, Grits.
Seems like we've heard positives about Austin, Marquez, and Spruce only.
All the rest have been just so so, including your own report as I recall.
Maybe the Rams want to send a message?
Maybe Groh has set the bar higher than the youngsters can achieve? Heaven knows that the WR bar needed to be raised, so I would be okay with that.
I was hoping for some glowing reports about both Cooper and Thomas, at least. But it seems like those posters advising caution may have been right.
Relax man. Its way to early for this. No need to panic. So far I've been to camp two days and if you think Bradley Marquez is the best WR you haven't been paying attention. Cooper went out early with an injury on Sunday. North, McRoberts and Thomas all had stand out catches in game simulation. Even Duke Williams looked better than I thought he would. Keenum made him look bad twice. But again, its far too early to jump to any conclusions or judgements on anyone. I'll be going back again today still focusing on passing game.

Thanks for the feedback, 64.
It means a helluva lot since you've seen these players with your own eyes.
Most of us can only try to read between the lines of camp reports from beat writers and fans like yourself.
Your camp reports and advice are much appreciated, man.
