I haven't check since the meltdown but you could before, should be able to now. The only hangup is that the photo has to be resized.
What I did was got a 'free' resize app for my iPhone... once I could resize to fit the parameters allowed for embedding photos it worked when I tested it. I'll have to recheck. - JamesJM
