The Rams have not had a 800 yard receiver since Holt many many years ago.
Most offensive players will underachieve with Fisher. It has been going on for 15 years and Austin is just one of a long line.
But given his underachieving, can you imagine the Rams offense last year without Austin? It would have been beyond the worst in the league, maybe the worst in NFL history. He, at least, had a handful of weeks where the Rams were able to have a little spark with a great run.
