Re: Can Tyler Higbee replace Jared Cook in '16?

Yeah, I think Higbee can replace Cook in '16. And then some.

Both on the field and in the locker room. Goff is gonna love this kid. A 6'6" fast TE that almost never has a drop and a catch radius that would make a condor jealous?

Ummmmm... What's not to like?

Yeah, I know he's a rookie. But his ceiling with the Rams is unbelievably high.

Besides, he will have several things going for him that most rookie TE's don't have.

A rookie QB in Goff that's gonna frequently be looking for a safe outlet target in his first year.
A coaching staff that likes to use TE prominently in their passing O.
The departure of Cook opened the door of opportunity very, very wide.
The Rams have other receivers in Britt, Austin, Cooper, and Gurley that opponents have to be very concerned about, as well.

All these things tell me that Higbee will get his targets early and often. And he almost never has a drop, unlike his predecessor. Sooooo...
