TruJ had a very good year in 2015. No doubt.
But......I think the smart move is to franchise him this year, and if he has a terrific 2016, then pay him the money. Better that than to do with they did with Foles, for example. Too often a guy has one good year that proves to be the best he'll ever have, and then gets paid as though that's the level he'll play from here on out.
Rams should wait. They own him for 2016, and can franchise him again in 2017 if need be. But they won't. If he plays at a Pro-Bowl level, they'll pay him.
