RAMS ANNOUNCE 2016 TRAINING CAMP PRACTICE SCHEDULE



LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Rams will host their 2016 Training Camp at the University of California, Irvine, returning football to Orange County for the first time in over two decades. Rams Training Camp will feature 16 practices at UCI that are open to the public as well as one scrimmage at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, August 6 at 3 p.m.



“We look forward to training at UCI in preparation for the 2016 season,” Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher said. “Their facilities are top-notch and we’re excited to welcome our fans to their campus and also to the Coliseum as we gear up for the start of the season.”



Rookies will report to UCI on July 26 and the remainder of the team will report to camp on July 29.



All open practices are free to the public and the Rams’ first public practice will kick off on Saturday, July 30 starting at 3:30 p.m. Gates open 90 minutes prior to the start of practice and select players will sign autographs after all open practices.



This year’s training camp will also feature the filming of the 11th season of Hard Knocks. The sports-based reality show, presented by the Los Angeles Rams, HBO Sports®, and NFL Films, will launch its five-episode 11th season on Tuesday, Aug. 9 (10 p.m. – 11 p.m. ET/PT) exclusively on HBO.

RAMS PRACTICES OPEN TO THE MEDIA/CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC



In addition to the practices that are open to the public, the Rams will hold two special teams practices (August 1 and August 10) and four regular practices that are open to the media, but closed to the public. Those dates are as follow:

Fan Parking Information

Parking will be available to fans in the Mesa Parking Structure (next to the Bren Events Center) at $10 per car. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking passes online in advance at www.TheRams.com. Video cameras and alcohol are prohibited.



Media Policy for Training Camp

Media may watch practice in its entirety. Local television cameras will have the opportunity to film the stretching and individual periods (approximately the first 20 minutes). Still photographers may shoot the entire practice. Head Coach Jeff Fisher will speak to the media on the field following each practice, and players will be available by request on the field following practice after they have fulfilled all of their responsibilities (i.e. lifting, meetings, etc.).
