I really saw Tru improve over time.....his deal was injuries....he also did not call things out like JJ did.....JJ made some splashy like plays for sure....INT's brought back for TD's....he did that but he also broke bad and caused some TD's the other way....
I like Tru's height against other players...he has a good sense for the ball....he makes INT's...they may not become TD's by a run back, but IMO the O needs to take TO's and turn them into TD's. It would take time off the clock and give the D some rest...The D can't cover the O for here on out.
Also look at where JJ has gone....he is in the media pit....who is going to call out if he messes up?....I did like JJ, but you lose 1 or the other...you could not keep them both UNLESS JJ wanted to really stay....same with Tru....if you paid JJ Tru would have gone IMO.....
I think Tru has better field vision and better control of actions.....he doesn't seem to bite on what the QB is doing.....JJ did...TD's vs. TO's.....I'd rather have TO's and have an O that can do something with them.....instead of having to hope that a INT is brought back for points......It makes your offense kinda mute to the outcome of games......
Can't rely on defense to win games....they keep you in games, win some, but the O needs to be a factor as well....Kicker as well......
