Do I put down a wager on the Rams in Vegas?

I think it's currently something like 70 - 1 odds of the Ram's winning the SB.
I have a brother-in-law going to Vegas day after tomorrow... and I'm thinking about making a wager... BUT....
And I haven't mentioned this in years... I do not like betting on the Rams. For and certainly NOT against. I don't even play in 'pools' very often because I can't bring myself to wager against the Rams in any given game... money involved or not. Every pool I've ever been in I pick the Rams every game of the season... and you have certainly deduced by that that I have won few pools.
So would a wager on the Ram's to win the SB this year jinx us? IT worries me. Maybe if I get my wager ticket, wrap it in tin foil, and put it in my gun safe? Or maybe place my wager then get hypnotized into thinking I did not? I have to decide by tomorrow night.
