I saw down below, the records of last Season's Divisional teams and it made me think. I know Parity has been around for a long time but, IMO, it's getting worse. More than ever, winning a Super Bowl seems like catching lightning in a bottle. It's damn near impossible for a team to afford to keep a Super Bowl team together longer than 2 years.......or even ONE! There's almost ZERO loyalty by players to any one team......ONLY if the price is right. I was thinking about our 2018 Super Bowl team. That was just FOUR years ago and hardly any of those guys are still a Ram. Players SAY they wanna play for a winning team. I wonder sometimes.
More n more....The NFL is getting to where the Playoff / Super Bowl teams are THIS year's cash grab team. Just like the NBA. IMO, it REALLY hurts loyalty across the board, from players to fans. It is also hurting rivalries between teams. Sure...The FANS get riled up when a rival comes to town. But look at the big ones....Bears vs Packers...Cowboys vs Wash and even our Rams vs the Niners. I just don't see the same fire like I used to.
