The Thicker Kicker

Have ya'll see this guy? His name is Harrison Mevis and he's the kicker for the University of Missouri. The media and fans refer to him as "The Thicker Kicker". I watched the Mizzou-Auburn game today and I've never seen a kicker built like him and whose kicking leg appeared incapable of going any higher than his knee. He has a gut, is really thick around the waist and looked out of shape as heck to my eyes. His stats say he's 6'0" and weighs 220. He looks heavier than that to me. Mevis looks more like a lineman than a kicker. And get this, he doesn't warm up before games because "that's not his routine" and he feels he doesn't have to. Well, he may want to change his tune because he missed a 26-yard field goal near the end of the game which then sent the game into overtime. Missouri had the chance to win it in OT, but the runner fumbled the ball in the endzone and Auburn recovered it for a safety. Missouri lost the game.
