I believe we are.
I think we would let Stetson Bennett play 2 to 3 games. Let Jimmy come in and get up to speed.
But we don't have to keep him on the roster.
I think Jimmy is basically saying, I'm not coming in to do all the work, but if you have a starter spot for me, hit me up.
(Assuming Jimmy doesn't sign with somebody else).
He doesn't want to ride the bench again. He's like, dude, you told me 3 years ago this guy will probably play a year or two more max, and you'll be me guy.
So instead he's like, I'm either going to sign with someone else as a starter, or I'm going to go sit on my couch, give me a ring if you actually want me to play quarterback for you...
