Not sure what kind of market there is for Jackson now - he is solid LT and we'll have to see what kind of suspension he could get but I feel like the Rams are playing with fire with Alaric. Recurring blood clots indicate and underlying condition. That's not going away. The 'medicine' for blood clots is blood thinners. Not exactly the best match for a violent contact sport. I wonder if they are cycling him on and off the medication so it's out of his system on game day or during contact scrimmages? Either way - it's going to be an ongoing problem.
Throw in some 'questionable life choices' (trying to keep it neutral here) and is he just more risk than he's worth? Him missing significant time would be a big problem for us in '26 and beyond.
No idea if Decker is a suitable replacement, skill-wise, or if there is even a trade market for Jackson. Just not super comfortable with our LT situation as of today.
