I hope that is an accurate statement.
I like this writer but he definitely has a florid style that could get grating after a while, and at this point he is definitely more cheerleader than analyst. He could use a good editor.
He is not Jourdan level, but I do see potential to be Jourdan lite. What he DOES seem to have is a deep and nerdy interest in the details that go beyond the lazy reporting of the exact same things that we see in most articles. And he does seem to have access to McVay. We need another reporter like that. I think that is the primary thing we miss without Jourdan.
