Not that he'd play 10-12 snaps a game. But he's also not coming back and playing 85%+ of snaps, which is what he was doing the last 7 years of his career. He's just not. Add in the fact that they said in 2023 he got down to around 265, and has certainly only lost weight since, and part of what he's doing is putting ON (good) weight.
But at 35 and weighing in the low to mid-260s, yeah, you're not an every-down guy. And they don't need him to be. Turner led the Rams d-line, playing 67% of snaps. Fiske 48.3%. Ford 45.3%. He'll be in that ballpark.
Agreed 93.
260's is very light and would be a problem even for AD. I would think a 300+ lb OL would have an easy time pushing around a 260 pounder. I could see teams running right at AD if he's on the field.
AD would still make his share of plays but I don't see him playing anything other than a rotational player.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
