Just as there will not be another Tom Brady, Stafford can't be replicated either.
Those guys are generational players with unique gifts.
I say this because they are not replaceable with like for like no matter how well we draft. When Stafford leaves the game, no matter who we get (even if it was Joe Burrow... not much chance) it will not be a player to that level. So, I plan on enjoying him as long as he wants to be a Ram, and I know McVay and Snead are not just saying nice things when they tell us that Matthew can play for the Rams as long as he likes!! His arm is still 2nd to none at 38 years old. His mind is unmatched. So, the best we can do is groom a guy with some of the attributes McVay values the most and go from there.
